Many people feel compelled to help children in vulnerable situations; only a few turn that compassion into a lifelong mission. Mr Rahim Shaik is one of those rare individuals - and his journey is the inspiration behind Great Alliance Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.

Raised in Raichur, Rahim witnessed children left to fend for themselves near railway stations and street crossings - abandoned, begging, or pushed into child labour. Those early observations stayed with him through his commerce studies. After post graduating, he chose a path of service over a conventional corporate career, joining a local Raichur NGO named Sathi focused on rescuing and rehabilitating runaway children.

Over more than a decade with that organisation, Rahim became part of the core team that expanded its work across India. Field experience taught him that family reunification is the best, but in exceptional cases, like when some homes are unsafe, and many families lack the means or willingness to care for their children. Confronted with these realities, he set out to create more durable solutions.
