Protecting and Empowering Childhood

Need Base India (NBI) is a child-focused NGO working to protect, educate, and empower vulnerable children through structured residential care and holistic development programs. Established in 2009, NBI provides safe shelter, formal education, health care, emotional support, and life-skills training to children who are orphaned, abandoned, or living in high-risk conditions.

Our Approach & Facilities

With a strong child-protection framework and transparent governance, NBI partners closely with government agencies, Child Welfare Committees, and schools to ensure long-term rehabilitation.

Our homes in Bengaluru - such as Rainbow Homes and Sneh Ghar-are nurturing spaces where children receive:

  • Stability & Safety: A secure residential environment.
  • Formal Education: Enrollment in schools and academic support.
  • Health & Nutrition: Regular check-ups and balanced diets.
  • Dignity: Opportunities to flourish and build self-esteem.

CSR Opportunities

NBI welcomes CSR collaborations that focus on:

  • Education support and scholarship programs.
  • Health and nutrition initiatives.
  • Capacity building for staff and caregivers.
  • Infrastructure strengthening for residential homes.

"Every child deserves safety, opportunity, and someone who believes in them. At Need Base India, our mission has always been to give children not just shelter, but a future filled with dignity and hope."
